Candidias is a type of infection caused by the overgrowth of yeast known as ‘Candida’, usually ‘Candida albicans’. There are around 20 species of candida infection found normally in very small amounts inside the human body. But certain medical conditions and health problems can result in widespread of the yeast in the body causing uncomfortable and bad health conditions. Here is detailed info on what is candidias and its types.

Types of candidias:
Oral candidias
Oral candidias also known as ‘oropharyngeal candidiasis’, occurs due to the overgrowth of yeast or candida in the throat or mouth area.
Sign and symptoms
Include white patches on the tongue or other areas of the mouth and throat
Soreness and problems swallowing
White spots inside the mouth and on the tongue
Cracking at corners of the mouth where your lips meet
Vaginal yeast infection

clotrimazole
nystatin
fluconazole
