Chikungunya is caused due to the viral infection of chikungunya virus (CHIKV). This virus infection is basically spread by an infected female ‘Aedes aegypti’ mosquito which carries the virus from an infected human to a healthy person.


Symptoms of chikungunya virus


It is much similar to dengue and last for 2 to 10 days in the body and which results in causing various symptoms like:

An apple a day
