Just like the face, your hand and feet too need extra care and protection as sunburn, tanning and redness make your skin dry and rough.
So, it is very important to protect your other body parts also from the harmful UV rays. Given below are some of the home remedies for protecting your hand and feet from the suntan. Lets find out how to remove tan from feet and hands.
Aloe Vera
Being rich in antioxidants, aloe vera helps in the elimination of free radicals from the skin thus protect your skin from getting damaged.
Ingredients
2 tbsp aloe vera gel
Method
Apply the fresh aloe vera gel on your hands and feet. Leave it stay on your skin for overnight. Rinse it off your skin the next morning.

Cucumber
Cucumber also acts as beneficial remedy to get you rid of sunburn and tanned skin. With the cooling effects, cucumber also helps in healing the skin.
Ingredients
2 tbsp fresh cucumber juice
1 tbsp lemon juice
A pinch of turmeric
Method
Take a small bowl and mix all the ingredients well till it forms a smooth paste. Apply the paste on your hands and feet. Wash it off with cold water after 30 minutes.
You can also rub freshly cut slices of cucumber on your skin.
Repeat the above remedies twice a day for effective results.

Yogurt
Yogurt basically contains probiotics in it which helps to remove the tanned skin from your body.
Ingredients
1 bowl of chilled yogurt
a pinch of turmeric
Method
In a small bowl mix the above ingredients thoroughly. Apply the mixture on your hands and feet for around 15-20 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water. Follow this remedy daily for quick removal of tan.

Lemon Juice
Lemon juice contains highly rich amount of vitamin C in it which helps in lightening of the skin.
Ingredients
1 cup lemon juice
Method
Take a small tub and fill it with warm water. Add lemon juice to it. Mix it well with your hands. Now soak your hands and feet in the tub for about 20-25 minutes. Rinse it off with cold water.
You can also directly apply the lemon juice to tan areas and wash it off with cold water after 20 minutes.
Follow the above remedy twice a day for better results.
